Patten Maine's lumbering history is captured by more than 3500 artifacts in nine buildings at the Lumberman's Museum.



Pemaquid Point This is the site of a much-photographed lighthouse and Colonial Pemaquid(Ft. William Henry) where archaeological excavations have unearthed the foundations of two forts.



Portland Maine's largest metropolitan area is a diverse city situated on a peninsula jutting out into Casco Bay. Two interesting homes are Victoria Mansion, an historic house with a collection of the High Victorian period, and Wadsworth-Longfellow House (1785), the poet’s boyhood home. PORTLAND HOTELS
