The Conwell Inn is a smoke-free, pet-friendly boutique hotel with the charm and feel of a European bed and breakfast. The Inn is located in the heart of beautiful & historic Temple University founded in 1888. Each of our 22 designer rooms are unique and reflect the charm, ambiance and history of the nineteenth century brick & mortar town homes that now house the hotel. Typical architectural features include floor to ceiling bay windows, original moldings and high or arched ceilings. Views of ivy covered gothic buildings and multi-cultural campus life abound from every guest room window. Turn left on Broad Street - 611 North - and follow North Broad past Montgomery Avenue until Berks Mall, which is 1 1/2 blocks past the Liacouras Center. Take Exit 25A to I-476 (Blue Route) South approximately 5 miles to I-76 East. Follow I-76 East for approximately 18 miles to Exit 38 (Central Philadelphia/East 676). Note: this is a LEFT lane exit. Turn left on Broad Street - 611 North - and follow North Broad past Montgomery Avenue until Berks Mall, which is 1 1/2 blocks past the Liacouras Center. From the bridge follow signs to Vine Street Local Traffic and proceed one mile to Broad Street. Turn left on Broad Street - 611 North - and follow North Broad past Montgomery Avenue until Berks Mall, which is 1 1/2 blocks past the Liacouras Center. Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) Cross the turnpike bridge, staying in the right hand lane and exit immediately past the toll booth on the Pennsylvania side ( Exit 29). Follow Route 13 South for two miles to Route 413 North. Turn right and proceed one mile to I-95. Turn left and follow I-95 South for 16 miles to the Girard Avenue Exit. Follow Girard Avenue for 2.3 miles to Broad Street.
