Okemo Mountain is 4 miles northwest to the property. The town of Ludlow has long been known as home to Okemo Mountain Resort. Winter activities include downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, ice skating, snowmobiling, sledding, sleigh rides, and much more. Summer is often overlooked, but there is just as much to do if not more: golf, tennis, hiking, biking, fly fishing, outdoor concerts, scenic gondola rides, picnics, swimming, antiquing, touring covered bridges and lots more! Year round the area boasts great shopping and art galleries.

Woodstock Village

Woodstock Village is 25 miles northeast to the property. First settled in 1768, it is easy to see why Woodstock has been called the "quintessential New England village" with its many unique shops, galleries, artisan studios, country stores, fine restaurants, a covered bridge in the middle of town, and stately homes surrounding the village green. A year-round resort since 1892 the Village of Woodstock has preserved its architectural and natural heritage with much of the Village included in a Historic District. Woodstock offers visitors convenience to world class hiking, skiing, biking, fishing, and golfing as well as playing host to some of America's premier outdoor events. Woodstock is also home to many area attractions including: The Billings Farm and Museum, Sugarbush Farms, The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS), The Pentangle Council on the Arts, and the Green Mountain Horse Association. Located just down the road from Woodstock is the town of Quechee where visitors can enjoy glass blowing demonstrations at Simon Pierce, view the stunning Quechee Gorge, visit the Ottauquechee Valley Winery, or simply shop in the many antique stores.

Manchester Village is 35 miles southwest to the property. Nestled in the picturesque Green Mountains of Southern Vermont, is the historic town of Manchester. Home to some of the finest brand name outlet shopping in the country, Manchester is a unique blend of New England charm, style, arts and culture. The area is a true four-season destination offering spectacular mountain scenery, nearby world-class skiing, breathtaking fall foliage, challenging golf and legendary fly fishing. Manchester is known for its many beautiful homes and mansions as much as for its outlet shopping and many boutiques and craft shows. Make sure to see Hildene, the summer home of Robert Todd Lincoln, the son of the President. This magnificent estate is now open to the public, offering everything from tours of its formal gardens in summer to candlelight tours of the house during the Christmas Season.
